CF Live Seminar The Casual Fellow live seminar has been the premier Exam 7 live seminar since 2013. The seminar is designed to cover the major points of each paper. While I will cover all of the papers on the syllabus, more time will be given to the math-intensive papers; memorization papers such as Marshall and Brehm are better suited for personal study time.
The seminar will consist of a mix of lectures and practice problems, with a focus on mastering the mathematical procedures in each paper. Aside from an occasional CAS exam problem, the practice problems are unique to the live seminar and will offer students an opportunity to work through problems not shown in the study guide.
The 2018 live seminar will be held in Austin, TX at the AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center. The conference center is also a 4-star hotel with excellent amenities and a fantastic location on the edge of The University of Texas campus. The center is within walking distance of the Texas State Capitol building (which is impressive in terms of state capitols) and less than a five minute Uber/Lyft from downtown.
Dates: March 19-21, 2018 (schedule) Location: AT&T Executive Education & Conference Center - Austin, TX (4-star hotel is part of the Conference Center) Status: Confirmed Reservations: A small block of rooms have been set aside at the Conference Center hotel for seminar attendees. When the block fills up, I should be able to add more. Even if you don't book your flight, please go ahead and make a room reservation as early as possible. The room rate at the Conference Center is $199/night. Reservations can be made at the following link: https://aws.passkey.com/e/49482204. Reservations can also be made by phone at 877-744-8822 (mention the Casual Fellow Exam 7 Seminar).
